Turns out sweating it out at the gym can reduce your psoriasis symptoms. A recent study published in Archives of Dermatology by researchers at Brigham and Women’s Hospital looked at the link between physical activity and psoriasis in 86,655 US female nurses. After researchers removed the confounds of aging, smoking and alcohol use, they found vigourous exercise is enough to reduce risk of psoriasis by 25-30%. What excatly is vigorous excecise? It’s about 105 minutes of running or 180 minutes of vigourous aerobic exercise.
